This October, the biblical Harvest Festival<\/strong> invites us to build a new kind of dwelling \u2014 a spiritual home built upon God\u2019s Word.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The autumn harvest festival of the Feast of Tabernacles<\/strong> commemorates God\u2019s deliverance of Israel from Egypt and His faithful provision for them during 40 years wandering in the wilderness.\u00a0
And for the entire month of October, we celebrate those moments where Heaven meets Earth<\/strong> by building spiritual tabernacles.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Bible translators and consultants are labouring to bring God\u2019s Word<\/strong> to the remaining 1,103<\/b> language groups in Asia with little or no access to Scripture<\/b>. Of these, only 838<\/b> languages are in progress, leaving 265<\/strong> language groups where the work has yet to even begin.<\/p>

Let no one be left to wander in a spiritual wilderness without hearing God\u2019s Word in their own tongue.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

A 65km Walk For Scripture Access:\nFrom Wilderness to Where Heaven meets Earth<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

It\u2019s a simple, physical act of solidarity, a pilgrimage of sorts, where Ps. Kim Leong, regional lead for illumiNations<\/strong><\/em> Asia\u2019s Pray for Zero<\/strong> movement, walks 65km on his 65th birthday across Singapore on September 30 \u2013 in recognition of a far longer journey\u2026<\/p>

He is walking for every language group where God\u2019s Word has yet to take root.<\/p>

For the month of October, we are invited to walk<\/em> alongside him – for the millions still living in spiritual wilderness; for the 1,103<\/strong> communities across Asia still waiting to hear God’s Word in a language that speaks to their hearts.<\/p>

Each step represents a verse, and each verse represents the journey from Wilderness to Word Made Flesh<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
